mine is next saturday. i don't really want to go because dances give me anxiety and it's in my school's gym so it's not going to be anything special. but my dress is gorgeous so i'm gonna pay $30 to prance around in it for like an hour and go eat ice cream.

Dances give me anxiety, too. I mostly just stayed at the outskirts and talked with my date. I danced a bit with friends. But the best part was going home after with my date and watching Doctor Who until 4 am.
You might enjoy prom, but even if you don't, looking pretty and having ice cream will definitely be awesome. And $30 is nothing compared to the tickets for my prom lol

yeah public school is ridicous i joined marching band and was like yo i can't afford this and they said it was okay but i still had to pay like $300 a year not including our $800 trip to philadelphia to march in the thanksgiving parade!! and i'm a twin so that's double everything. between dues, trips, uniform fittings, and instruments we've paid thousands of dollars in THREE YEARS.

Oh my god really?! I guess since my marching band didn't go on big trips other than competitions we didn't have to pay extra. I mean, we always were doing fundraisers but never had to do all that. The only time we paid extra was when we went to Universal Studios, but it was a choice made by the band to go at all. I was in public school too.
What do you play? I played clarinet, bass clarinet, contra bass clarinet, and xylophone (I played piano outside of school).

Everything is expensive in public school (it's way worse at private school in some cases) like junior prom tickets cost 75 dollars. Not even senior prom. Junior.

the cello is such a pretty instrument! i tried to play my friends' a couple of times and the difference messed me up soo badly. Piano is also pretty but also very difficult? I'm trying to see if I can get lessons.

Piano is a lot of fun once you get going, but it can be really hard. So jealous of your string skills! I've always wanted to cello.
As for blurryface, I have no idea how you can switch between the saxes and clarinet. They're similar but I would totally confuse myself

I used to play the piano, but when I moved and we left the piano behind, I stopped. But I play a bit of flute, oboe, guitar, and didgeridoo.
