But like, Republican encompasses so many things, though.
You can be socially or fiscally conservative, whatever.

I don't really care for politics so I don't identify with any political group.

I'm moderately liberal, but I usually tell people that I'm moderate so I stop being harassed by conservatives.

SNP, the only real left wing party in the UK with any chances of success. I have sympathy for the Scottish Green party in certain areas but their policies aren't particularly sound in certain areas.

I'm in Canada and support the Green Party - but its not to say that I've not voted for the NDP or Liberals on occasion (though more for a local reason then a political one).

Hovering between NDP and Liberal (fellow Canadian, ehhhhh) ::chuckles:: the two parties that at times can't seem to make up their mind which way they are going to lean in any given day of the vote ... lol ... as said when it comes to local politics I've voted within three areas, but one area I'll just never go is conservative that one just gets my goat to much to even go there (that and their party views on abortion, lgtb, etc ya so not going there).

At Nyxks and hailstorm-- hail, fellow Canadians! Sort of. Once I'm legally able to vote I'm probably going to be between Green and NDP depending on election season and depending on their political platforms that season, especially since they can vary based on what level they're at (local can be a lot different!)
Green tends to have the second-to-least-workable fiscal policies, next to the conservatives' magical our-published-numbers-don't-even-balance, but lately they've been doing a lot better! NDP seems to have lost a lot with Jack Layton and has been erring a little more on the conservative side for my taste.
Props to the liberals for giving sex ed a much-needed brutal overhaul, but they really need to stop trying to police trans women and nonbinary people, and seriously need to stop crapping on the rights of LGBT sex workers. My husband's friends have gone through a lot of police brutality since the attempts to push the Nordic Model started up, and there's no excuse to do that to someone in the name of ""rescuing"" them.
Here's hoping the liberals in Toronto at least do better than the Conservatives in that they don't pull something like mass arrests of trans women for ""soliciting sex"" just because they exist there at next Pride-- it was a big, big, big deal last time.
