So I'm personally not poly but I have a few friends who ARE and they get kinda miffed when they get left out of the community. The definition I've seen of poly is attraction to some genders but not all, which is similar to the definition of bi, the attraction to two or more genders.

This isn't polyamory, btw!!! Nothing against that but poly is a sexual and/or romantic orientation whereas polyamory is not.
