A neat idea I use to run across on all the forums I use to frequent. Basically, you just make a post where you write out-- pretty much what you would in a diary! Something good that happened to you today, anything that's bugging you, so on. If you feel like writing, no matter what about(as long as it follows the rules!) here's the place to do it.

Today did not start off how I expected it to, but I can't really complain. At least there's the farmers market to look forward to tomorrow--cant wait to haggle prices for yummy vegetables. Mmm.

Dear Diary...your name is now Lorenzo, because I created an amazing roleplay and Lorenzo is a much cooler name than it gets credit for. I wonder if I'll ever want to go frm Felix to Lorenzo. As long as I don't choose Sebastian, mom'll be happy. I don't know why she hates that name, though. Tomorrow I have to miss my iano teacher's concert because my friend's godfather is giving me an art lesson that he could give any weekend at all, and I'm going to make my teacher so disappointed. I feel so bad but my mom won't let me reschedule.

Dear Diary...
Today, I find a really interesting forum sight by the name of "benjiscloset". Though, I've participated in forums before, I've never really found it interesting to spend my time on them, for they were always a waste. This one seems different though! I originally found the link while scrolling my tumblr dashboard, and boy aren't I glad? Not only is it made for the LGBTQ+ community, but everyone on it seems so lovely and kind! I can't wait to explore it more!

dear diary,
today i (vaguely) found out why my assistant band director has been missing since spring break. it's been eating me up not knowing why he would just not show up to the job he loves without notice. i have a sinking feeling that he's in a bad place right now, mentally. he always cheers me up on my bad days, so i've decided to buy him a gift for when, or if, he comes back.

Dear Diary. This is about yesterday because I was sooo fucking exhausted. I was taking the bus home from my classes at the community college and my transfer was two buses late. Then a school bus stopped at the red light and these kids poked their heads out the windows. I say kids, but honestly they could have been anywhere from 15 to 20. I don't know. One guy caught my eye and immediately started yelling over to me--"Are you a boy or a girl? Huh?"
My options were either to ignore him and let the other people at the bus stop just feel sorry for me, in which case I'd get embarrassed, and he'd know it....
Or I could answer him. I'm not great with wittiness, not with strangers yelling at me from a school bus, so I was just honest and said, "Boy."
He almost didn't believe me, telling me I looked like a girl, but at least he didn't discredit me. Simply asking kind of made me feel happy because he couldn't tell. But....then he asked me if I'd 'fucked a b***h yet' and he kept asking, and laughing, and I just glared at him silently. Now I wish I'd said 'never had, never will', just because well, I'm gay, and at least it would have been something. He tried to figure out how old I was-but he did it by asking my grade in school, so I just said I was homeschooled.
They drove away.
I didn't hate it. I get that that sort of was harassment, but if something like that ever happens again, and I'm not actually in danger of beign physically harrassed I know I'll answer whoever is talking. I don't want to keep silent because honestly? His questions didn't bother me that much. I just knew that they were meant to. I have no problem telling a stranger if I'm a virgin or not, or whatever the f*ck else he wanted to know, and yeah, I felt stressed out afterward but no more than I do when I'm talking to my friends.

an old friend just planned a road trip here with his friends and they're staying at my house and i'm so excited but the guy i drunkenly sent a really embarrassing and creepy facebook message to might come. but it was like two years ago so maybe he forgot about it??? let's hope so

dear diary,
the other day, my dad made a joke about cutting, which also mentioned suicide. in the past, he's always said that in the future I need to get myself a husband to take care of me. today, when he said that, I said, "what if I don't want a husband?" to which he replied with "you will when you get older". I've tried to find out if he's homophobic, no luck so far. the cutting joke did inform me of the fact that he is a prick.

Dear Diary,
I've been living away from my abusive family for almost two months now which is wonderful but yet I still feel very lonely all the time. I have one friend that I'm able to see once a week/when she is free but I honestly wish I had more than that. I wish I could actually live somewhere around loving people and be able to express myself how I want without fear of being prejudized. It isn't easy where I am...the city where I live is notorious for being rather terrible and I know practically no one else close by...I wish I wasn't so terrible/scared of making friends or meeting new people...

i did so awesome on the choir competition today (and 99 out of 100 points is amazing!). i'm not going to study anything today because i simply stopped caring, at least for now. i need to relax. watched like 15 eps of hunter x hunter and i'm feeling great since i joined this forum where i can !finally! be myself B)

Dear diary,
Today was awesome. My gf and I were at school, but we had a minifestival there so we could just lie on the grass and love each other and hold hands and it was so fantastic. I'm sunburnt though. But then, at the end of the event, the host used gay as an insult and my gf and I were plotting to hit him (we weren't really gonna do that though). I just wanted to hold her hand and both hold a pan and smash his head between them. Then he'd be defeated by pans with pans.
