do you think it's possible to change sexualities?
the reason why i'm asking is because my sex drive has greatly decreased lately, and the thought of being with a person romantically is just... i don't want to say repulsive, but it's pretty low on my list of priorities.

I think gender and sexuality is totally fluid. Also, remember, there's a huge difference between romantic and sexual attraction, too. You can be romantically attracted to people but not sexually attracted to them, and the other way around, too. It can depend on person to person. It can be affected by things such as stress and depression. All of that's okay!

yes. I don't think you can choose in your mind like 'hm, im gay, lets be straight now'
but I do think it can definitely change. Before I realized I was trans I was...well, straight, I guess, attracted to guys but I had pretty much no sex drive.
Now I not only have one, I'm considering that I might be bisexual. Probably not. But I think about it more and I'm definitely more attracted to women than I used to be.

I agree with Misfit-- I believe sexuality, gender, it's all very fluid. A lot of things can affect/influence these things, from outside sources to internal ones, and that's all fine.

Yeah, fluidity is definitely a thing. Some people experience it more than others for whatever reason.
(For some reason my grade 9 year was the only year I was even remotely attracted to girls. True facts.)

I think studies have shown that women are more likely to be fluid, sexually and gender identity wise?
then you have to wonder if they mean AFAB people, or people who identify as women cx
I'm not sure if that has any weight behind it at all though, but my mom was interested in that stuff before I came out and she told me something about it.
