I'm Kira.
I am a 23 year old MTF (Pre transition)
I am married to a wonderful woman (who is on the fence about me being trans) and the father to a perfect little boy.
I follow you guys on Tumblr and couldn't resist checking this out.

I will be honest, I don't think I am as sensitive as many people who follow Benji's closet and I don't agree with everything supported by the blog. But I keep my opinions to myself unless asked and please, if I offend you in any way, let me know and I will give you my sincerest apologies.

That is not my goal here. I am seeking friends and to broaden my perspective of the world.

One selfish request...

Could a MTF Trans woman who was/is married with children please get in touch with me. I am looking for some advice.

Other than that I am here to help anyone I can. I have experienced quite a few things during my time on my own as a teenager, in the military, and so on.

A lot of the people who follow us are young kids, so I try to be sensitive to how they feel in keep in mind that even though I may disagree with certain issues, this is one of the few safe spaces they have. A lot of times people may be offended by something that we might not see as being as important or even relevant because it's something that impacts them personally. Everyone's entitled to their own positions and perspectives on certain issues and as long as they're discussed respectfully, I don't mind disagreements at all. In fact, I encourage them. Everyone has something different they can bring to the table, and I'm sure you have some of your own, considering you're a parent!

We do have a MTF trans woman mod, pre-transition. Her name is princessnarnia. I'll keep an eye out and send people your way if I can find someone who fits your description if you would like. We're glad to have you here!
