It's not really my church, I barely go there, but I used anyways. I don't want to get too into details but, I need help on what I need to say to the pastor on why being an LGTBQIA person isn't a sin.
What I plan on telling her, is that god is the god of love and that he will accept us no matter what, so long as we're good people. That our bodies are only temporary cuss somewhere in the bible it says once we die, our souls transfer to a new body in heaven. That transitioning isn't going against god's wishes, because if it were, then a lot of children would be going against god too. Because if someone was born deaf, and later had an implant or surgery to hear, then it would mean going against god. There are lots of examples and analogies for this, but I need to explain this to her in a way that she simply cannot refuse to admit.
And I have no time to read the bible as my mother made the appointment for later this week. I need everyone's help on how being different from cis and hetero is not a sin and how god will accept us no matter what.
I want to prove to them, that theyve got it all wrong. Specially because being someone who was born into christianity.. I'm constantly paranoid, even tho I know god will accept me anyways cuss he wouldnt condemn someone to hell, when theyve been good. This body is a vessel for the soul. Why would a god so powerful care what we look like or do to our bodies, so long as were not hurting anybody you know?
I want my debate with this pastor to be a just one, and I want for her to be able to not answer me, because she'll know I'm right. But I'm just not clever enough and I get very, very nervous when confronting people like this.. so I need to write everything I want to say, so I dont forget.
So please everyone, help me. If you dont want to reply here, please PM me. Share this with your friends, ask anybody, I just need a lot of counters to whatever nonesense she says.
Thank you all in advance.
