I'm an asexual cis girl, that part i have figured out. however, I'm not sure what my romantic orientation is.
I've never had a crush, boys, girls, anyone, but the idea of a romantic relationship seems really cool. Like I want one. So while I've never ever had a crush, just this year (maybe just because I've been thinking about it a lot) I've realized that there are (female) friends that I would date if they wanted to date me. But its not all friends, just a certain few.
I don't know if this is worth noting but the friends that I like(?) are both girls that are attracted to girls.
I was thinking that maybe I only like these friends because 1. I like them. I mean they are my friends and 2. there's a possibility that they could like me back. I'm not sure if this qualifies as aromantic or demiromantic or homoromantic or something else entirely.
any thoughts on this?

As always, only you can decide what you are, but have you considered grey romantic or lithoromantic? If you have only ever felt this attraction to girls it does sound like some kind of homoromantic attraction. Since you were friends first demiromantic does seem to fit also. You might want to also consider aromantic, like you would date those people if they wanted to but you've never actually had a romantic crush on them yourself. Kinda like how an asexual can want a sex life and find people they would have sex with, while not actually feeling sexual attraction. You can always look at the definitions of the different romantic attractions and see if one just explains you, that's how I figured myself out. Ultimately it's totally up to you! Even not labeling your romantic attraction may work the best for you for now, which is totally cool too. It's a complicated thing to figure out!
