Poem correction??

So I wrote this poem in German literature class and have to hand it in at the end of this term
It's in English but I'm German (translating it makes no sense and would sound awful, I like the english version!)
So could someone look this over and eventually correct it?

Madness

Desperate cries thrown into the night
tears streaming down my face
prayers send to heaven at 3am

Can nobody hear me?
I got a lot that's on my mind
I cannot breath, can you hear it too?

Scratches, pulsing cuts, drops of blood
massive walls closing in on me
heavy weights of unreasonable guilt

You can leave, it's your choice
'cause this is my plague honey
and I'll take you down with me

Run for cover now
I'll ram my nails into your neck
rip your throat out and infect you too

You're stumbling into my hell
now you're not leaving
I'm keeping you here

I need you for salvation
you're crying blood
you caught it too

I kick the living shit outta me, you do the same
but this is my plague honey
I guess we're a lost cause now

So do we still have to pray?
It's time we become friends with the devil.

Embrace the insanity we're caught up in.
Thousands of crazy minds staring at us.
They whisper...
        The madness got to you too?
