Okay I feel weird because I feel like I've been asking too many questions whatsoever...
Anyway, today in class me and my friends somehow got to talk about gender identity and also being gender-fluid also with non-binary. And I have a little problem. When I told them that there are people identifying with more than just 2 genders they at first didn't believe me and after I insisted didn't understand it. And as I have no personal experience, like at all and so wouldn't know how to describe it, I wanna ask some of you if you have any idea how I could explain this to them? Because they're kinda stuck in the binary gender thinking and I have no idea how to explain this.
Thanks.

there's never too many questions dude, we're always here and happy to help you! questions are the wonder of the curious, so never be afraid to wonder! uvu
try ingraining in them that gender is not black and white. it's a rainbow! a color wheel full of all sorts of variance. not everyone fits in the boy/girl binary that society has drilled into our heads; and these people are non-binary! they simply don't feel bound to our black and white gender boundaries. in my case, i just don't like being defined by a gender. i like simply existing as a human being. but it's different for everyone! the key to explaining it is to reinforce the idea that there are not just two genders!
i hope this helped! i agree, it is a pretty difficult topic to explain. but that's totally ok! stay safe dude, and rock on!
