Hiii! Thought I'd make a thread for me to post my art! I have a deviantart account as well, if only to have a permanent place to upload via my phone. But here you gooo! I'll probably just post new things to the thread as I go along??? Hope you don't mind abstract paintings! Omg I LOVE sunburst. They're all great but that one just jumped out at me. You're very talented. I've been meaning to get started painting but I just don't know how and where to get the supplies and if i can afford things like canvas or whatever.

Well, they're just little acrylic paintings i did back in March. The Sunburst was actually the first painting I had done in over 10 years due to a grade 3 art teacher that told me to give it up. I'm glad I finally got back into it!! ♥ Though technically Blurred Vision was finished first but. Shhhh. I get my supplies from Michaels' and my local dollar store. Canvases and paintbrushes from Michaels', and paint from the dollar store. It's. pretty expensive to be honest but it makes me feel good so I don't particularly care about the price tag! For my little flat canvases which are 8 x 10 I think.. it was about 9 dollars Canadian for a pack of 6? So that wasn't too bad, but I've got plenty of different sizes by now, with varying prices. I'm going to try and make some to sell, just for some extra money! Because it might turn into more, who knows.  I started out with a single pack of canvases, a pack of brushes, and a palette on which to put paint. Then I bought various shades of red/orange/yellow at my dollar store. About 20 dollars worth. Just to start out and see if I liked it. And obviously I did! ♥ It's a great stress reliever, too!!! But thank you so much for your kind words!!! |
