guys, for some weird reason, regular old flies are gathering around a large lamp in my room, but no where else.
the lamp is lit and it's really bothersome, does anyone know how to get rid of the little nerds without turning the lamp off?

there's no food at all, and my room is relatively clean! there's a can of shaving cream and that's about it! it's so so weird.

no, but sometimes i open the door to empty my dehumidifier! that could be the source of this buffoonery!

adopt a frog, problem solved.
If the lamp is the brightest thing in your room, they're probably attracted to it because they think it's the outside. Since it's April, they probably just became adults from pupas and think your lamp = the outside.
Your best bet would probably be to turn your lights off, open a window and wait for the little nerds to fly out. Or do as bec said, and get some flypaper.
