- Do not bind for more than eight hours a day.
- Do not use duct tape or ace bandages to bind.
- Do not use "cheap" binders that are not elastic.
Some binders that have been known to be safe and effective include GC2B and Underworks. - Stop binding if you are in pain.

I don't bind yet but I want to--what is the average price range do you think for good binders?

Underworks is around the same price, but I personally think that GC2B hold up to washing a bit better.

I don't bind yet but I want to--what is the average price range do you think for good binders? if you don't have the money for an Underworks or GC2B binder, there are some cheap ones on ebay for like $5 but obviously for the price the quality will suffer a bit. i actually bought one of them and i can let you know how it works!

My binder from under works was $30 plus a little for shipping.
I have a question: My binder keeps bunching up at the bottom around my lower ribs and when it does it squeezes the crap out of them, (I have a tri-top under works binder). I'll admit I'm a bit overweight and this is probably the result of my gut pushing up on it when I sit down. However, does anyone know a way to prevent this? (and don't say lose weight cause I'm already working on that). I was wondering if I got a full length binder if it might not do this? But I'm afraid I might die if I have to have my entire torso squeezed to death all day, lol...

You could cut and then sew it?

Uh, I want to start binding and I need advice. I have a chest that on the *ahem* larger side. There are many types of binders and I need to know which type would fit best, and I know I'll never be fully flat but it would help to have a binder that can get me as flat as possible without causing harm to myself.
