I hereby cordially invite everyone to like my new "Public Figure" Facebook Page. Which I've set up mostly to make myself feel vastly more important than I actually am.
Kidding.
Mostly.
I don't know if "Public Figure" is quite right, but "Entertainer" seemed a little lofty, and "Writer" seemed a little narrow. I briefly set it to "Pet," but I thought that might give people the wrong idea.
It's... my personal profile is very, well, personal. It's for people that I actually know in person, have met, worked with, gone to school with, or whatever. But I'm trying to get my story out there, and I can't do that if I cripple myself on the biggest social media site there is, and remain entirely private. So, rather than just start having more public posts (i.e., any at all), I figured I'd just set up a page.
For now, I really only plan to use it to cross-post from my other accounts, and interact directly with people who are on Facebook, but not Tumblr, or Twitter, or whatever.
Deep breath. Okay. Aggressive Vulnerability. Here we go.
