I'm 15, ending freshman year in two weeks. I just got asked out today for the first time ever!
By a guy. Who I'm pretty close friends with. Rejected him pretty confidently ("Aw, nice, but you see the problem here is that I'm hella gay. That's very sweet, though!" *hug*) and I don't regret it but wow. That's like, so awkward? For us both? Now I'm confident that this dude will get over it soon enough, but for today it's a dark hour for him and I hope he can drown his sorrows in like SSB4 or something. Effective therapy, that is.
ANYWAYS anyone else have fabulous heterosexual experience akin to this? So surreal.

I mean, I haven't had an experience where someone of a gender I wasn't attracted to asked me out, but I've definitely turned guys down and ended relationships and it's always really rough and awkward. But hey, I had a boyfriend for almost two years and I had to break up with him. It was rough. He was very upset for a while. But now we hang out all the time as friends.
So I think your friend will definitely get over it and you'll be acting the same way as before in no time. But you know, he may need some space and time.
But good for you in not being guilted into anything!

Me in guymode has attracted a couple of younger guys and girls for some reason, and I've of course turned them all down. Otherwise, I just had one guy who asked for some casual sex quite a few times in a half-joking manner, but he stopped when he found out about my gf.
